I was given a really cute wool hat by that I never wear because it itches my forehead. So like anyone I googled "how to make a wool hat less itchy" and came upon a blog called Techknitting.
The solution to my itchy hat problem was to soak it for about 5-10 minutes in tepid water that had 2 tablespoons of hair conditioner dissolved in it. I just did it tonight and the hat is drying so I will let you know how it turns out. But the blog looked like something you knitters would enjoy :)
